PSL Mission Statement
The Premier Soccer League (PSL), is a non-for profit organization. We are members of the USSF, and USASA via the Illinois State Soccer Association (ISSA). The purpose of the PSL is to provide recreational competitive soccer for all of its members. Our league officials administer, schedule and arbitrate over all activities necessary to achieve its goal. We provide the schedule and referee assignment for our league members. The PSL also makes every effort to promote soccer throughout the suburbs of the Chicagoland area. The league has board members that are elected for two year terms and powers granted to the league and its members are specified in our bylaws.
The PSL plays according to FIFA rules and play 11v11 in 45 minute halves. We play a regular season followed by a tournament for each division.
The PSL consists of four age groups: Open Men, Over 30, Over 40 and Over 48. These age groups are divided into divisions according to skill level.
